Braided cord, 5 mm is suitable for projects in various needlework techniques: knotting (macrame), crocheting, etc. The thickness of the cord makes it possible to quickly and pleasantly realize projects such as bags, cradles and various interior design elements: baskets, decorative pillows, bedspreads, plant hangers, wall hangings, poufs, etc.
Braided cord cannot be combed to create fringes. They can be created by combining them with 5 mm macramé cord of the same color.
Bobbiny braided cords are made from recycled cotton materials obtained from textile manufacturing waste, including used clothing.
The twine braid additionally contains a cotton core, which helps maintain the shape of the created project. They are durable and flexible in structure, as well as very soft and pleasant to the touch.
No dyes are used in the process of creating Bobbiny braided cords. Cotton of different colors is first cut into small pieces, then crushed until it forms a dust. As a result, when mixed in certain proportions, the desired color tone is created.
The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificate certifies that Bobbiny cords are produced in accordance with internationally recognized ecological requirements and do not contain substances harmful to health. They can be safely used in products for small children and people with allergies.
